but I have yet to see a movie of his with real heart.
Except for one director friend I don't know a single person who liked or was touched by this film.
The reviews it got here were very mixed (many of the positive ones were only lukewarm).
All that said I will see it for the filmmaking and performances.

Well if you start on this foot you certainly won´t like it..You will miss the magic, if magic there is, our anti-Semit in residence, who curiously has most a good taste ( because he agrees with me ) with films, said it is good.
So...
I'll still give it a fair chance.The main reason I haven't seen it yet is the almost three hour (including previews) length.
I know a lot of people who know and/or have worked with Fincher and their basic reaction to BB is usually.... "Well... "
