I was editing it and accidentally deleted it. You covered some good ones that I had on my short list. But you missed "The Blues Brothers".
Yes, Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House is a good one, and I know you were just referencing "The Money Pit", but I was actually contemplating adding "The Money Pit" to my list. I left it out because I thought I would be mercilessly berated for doing so. To me, it was laugh-out-loud hilarious.

Please do add it - Shelley Long is sooo cute too!
Essential.

I do enjoy The Money Pit, even though it isn't a great movie. But to anyone who's ever restored or remodeled a house, it's hilariously on target.
Sorry to say, I just don't love The Blues Brothers. And I know it's an iconic movie. I just...don't.
But a guilty pleasure of mine is My Blue Heaven - so there ya go. I just love Joan Cusack. Loved her as the jilted Bride in the Kevin Kline movie In and Out.
Her jilted bride, especially the bar scene, (Is everybody Gay???) and outside on the street, "Will someone marry me", was FOTFLOA funny.
And of ocurse, if we're talking kevin Kline, we're talking.....
...perfect! KK was great in that movie.
I was always amused In & Out was set in Indiana...not much of Indiana looks like that, especially since it wasn't filmed here. ;-)
