I loved the flick, but since yer bringing up criticisms,
And I posted this once before,
We're supposed to believe that an insurgent sniper, using an AK-47, at 800 yards (or was it meters?), can pick off 3 Brits, and our guys, using a stationary, tripod mounted sniper rifle, with a spotter, take about 5 shots before they can get it right (and one hit was on a running insurgent)? I have no problem with the misses by the Americans, but a big problem with the insurgent sniper's accuracy.
Follow Ups:
Are you sure it wasn't the Dragunov sniper rifle? It looks quite a bit like the AK-47, but longer.

good military yarn.
The Jordanian setting is convincing.

accuracy in the beginning of the skirmish, 3 for 3 kill shots within a minute or two and then nada for the next fifteen minutes? What was he doing, smoking a doob to celebrate?
took out the best actor. I enjoyed the movie which had the built in suspense of the "bomb defuser guy." Thought the HBO series, Generation Kill was similar in style and done better. Still, a good movie, solid B.
I think Ralph was taken out second?
I'd also argue that Guy Pearce is hard to top in film these days (the first guy blown to bits).
I would have liked to see more of Pearce.
He really nailed the characters combination of smoothness/ease/bravado with seriousness/focus/command.
The best character and best actor in the film.
