there's like a million good 'crime movies' out there, and we're limited in memory, and available bandwidth. How about, for D. Lynch fans, 'Blue Velvet', and 'Mullholland Drive'? This could go on forever and a day.

I was thinking mainly of heist type movies when I was doing that list, and certainly No Country For Old Men would qualify as a crime flick, although for some reason I don't think of it as a "crime" movie.
Fargo would be a crime movie as well, although I think Blood Simple is just as marvelous in its own way.

...but I didn't think of either of those two as "crime" movies.
But of course they are, plus they're two of the best American movies ever - of any genre.
