I disclaim all responsibility for this.. you merely asked for "Gore" I didn't see where it had to come with a good movie..

Was the Cinematography not at least visually interesting.

I watch so many old Black and White Films Modern Cinematography is still a novelty for me.

...you have to be in mood for it. I like Mads Mikkelsen's movies, the latest I saw was Adam's Apple - check it out, very unusual.

  certainly one badass neo-nazi. It's funny how there was lots of dark humor but nearly sickening when the mood turned to violence.
  Those Scandos sure can make a movie about people.
  Check out "The Inheritance" and "Fear Me Not" for two really good Thomsen films.
