...Christopher Walken movie.
....
...mine would be Gangs of NY directed by Scorcese.
I am generally not a fan of Leo but he very occasionally surprises.
....over the top brutal. Bill "The Butcher" Cutting...(Daniel Day Lewis) was definitely one scary dude during the "Boss Tweed" era NYC. And we learned why they called him Bill the Butcher.
A good performance by Cameron Diaz.
DiCaprio....yet another credible portrayal.
This movie had plenty of white knuckle suspense. I liked this movie even if it made me wince here and there.

I can't fault any of the acting in the film. The cast was really top notch.
Nicholson really brought his character to life. Maybe this is some of his best work.
Winstone was superb.
Sheen as the police Captain......credible.
Wahlberg as the over-bearing police Sgt......credible.
DiCaprio....... credible. I can't fault his performance.
What worked for this film was the screen play. It was crafted so well as to create some of the best suspense I can recall in a film. The stakes could not be any higher.
Yet another truly great Martin Scorcese film.

Then Catch Me If You Can.
I like Roady's list.
If you saw Wolf of Wall Street on TV you missed some of the best parts ;-)
I still laugh when I remember the scene where the quaaludes take effect and he has to crawl out of the building.
I don't know why, but I've put off watching this movie. First viewing, lmaoff, rotflmaoff
What a hoot.

the critical side of the film is that all that fun and foolishness came at expense of clients and investors. Good fun. I'll drag it out again this week.
except no one was ever as over-the-top as was DiCaprio/Scorcese in this movie.
There is definitely a 'not-so-subtle' message to anyone watching this movie. And that is that all the different venues on the U.S. Stock exchange are indeed vulnerable to scammers such as Jordan Belfort.
Indeed the financial welfare of the US economy is made vulnerable to scoundrels such as he. And by extension this affects all of us, 401-K holders and non-investors.
The early scene with Mark Hanna ((Matthew McConaughey) really sets the tone. The message was that stock brokers are more interested in maximizing their comi$$ion$ than making solid investments for their customers/clients.
Whether or not the NYSE is really this corrupt, the movie does suggest that 'some' stockbrokers and many of their customers/clients are all about making an easy killing in the shortest amount of time.

on his show and the scriptwriter said, after researching everything, that he took all his money out of the stock market. He did not want to be any part of the game nor finance any of the said behaviour.
The book Devil in the White City about America's first serial killer should be another great DiCaprio and Scorsese collaboration.
let's hope he does it justice.
"Once this was all Black Plasma and Imagination" -Michael McClure
I couldn't put that book down.
What's Eating Gilbert Grape deserved an Oscar.

"Once this was all Black Plasma and Imagination" -Michael McClure
Wonderful acting to portray the silliness of the character and the hollowness of the cult story. Every other actor would take that role seriously.
Bill
Jesus...
Weird film with a weird guy portraying a weird part. At least he NAILED that one! :)
Lots of room in the closet. I'm waiting for a Sylvester Stallone festival to come around. Can't go wrong with a guy named Sylvester.
Watching him, Arnold and Harrison Ford was like visiting a time machine.
You will have to pry that machinegun out of their cold dead hands. :)
This Boy's Life
The Departed
Inception
Django..
Gangs..
I think his most believable acting performance was in This Boy's Life so if yer question were to be rephrased to - What movie did you like DiCaprio's acting in the most, that would be it.

"E Burres Stigano?"
Love that frat boy humor.
