I saw it 2d small screen. Not much emotional involvement here. Great CGI. We've seen at least one more involving movie that I can recall that utilize avatars --- in that 2009 movie; Avatar.

I rate it: Just ok. Not much story here. Just a quest and a little drama between those involved in the effort to claim the top prize. At no time was I on the edge of my seat. Nor was I concerned about the welfare of any of the protagonists. I felt no personal involvement. Perhaps the younger among us will see it differently.
