This 1956 movie with Tyrone Power as Eddy Duchin is very good. The Piano music is great.

He died at just 41. Power did credible job "playing" piano, you could easily see it was fake, but still credible, good enough to maintain the mood.

I remember the film. Mainly due to a trip I took to LA with my grandmother. We stayed with one of her good friends who was a retired concert pianist. She took us to meet a distant relative. He lived in a nice smaller home next to Bob Hope's mansion. He played numerous musical instruments and taught actors how to fake playing. He mentions teaching Power for this role.
