I now need a run of either 39' or, if that's too long, 24' (across the ceiling), video only. There are several tested in the URL below, but the item is undated.
FWIW the projector is a JVC DLA-RS1U.
Thanks!

I believe that HDMI max. length without a repeater is 50'. Coaxial component video can go much further depending on the source and cable that you use.
Go with the HDMI if you need digital audio down the same pipe.
Many sources will only put up to 480p over component. If you're feeding a large display that has a good video processor, and you don't need audio on the same run, I'd look into a high quality component cable.
If your source has a better video processor than the display, go HDMI with or without audio.

Easier said then done. A lot of this depends on how well HDMI and/or component is handled with both the source and the display. I've had good luck with a 50 ft Tara labs Component cable which was significantly more expensive than the 50 ft RAM electronics DVI cable I'm also using. YMMV.
Everything else being equal, routing digital video via digital (DVI/HDMI) to the digital display would seem the way to go. But everything's not always that equal.
I haven't ordered from these guys yet, I just like their website. See what they have to say on the HDMI page. I decided to stick with component cables.
But call whoever you pick for their preference for a long run.
But I bet component is a better choice.
Oops, the CD I was listening to just turned off when I changed TV channels.
