have posted several times on those old Why Bose threads and still do enjoy my midfi Acura TL Bose system (better than the new Acura ELS trash). The ELS system is Panasonic based also and has a suckout and loud cheap tweets.

Have you folks ever auditioned the Klipsch series for yourself?

Must say something, I agree on S P, bring on more like her. I believe majority here are left leaners. Hope I am wrong.

Auto sound is so bad that even Bose sounds good in them. I had a Bose system in my car a while ago, sounded fine. Actually I have no problem with "auto Bose."

Klipsch? Yes, early in my audiophile journey I bought a pair, they sounded great. But, I found myself getting a headache after listening to them for a couple hours. I did some research and found out why. Some people have this problem, headaches caused by horribly time misaligned tones. I eventually went with Dunlavy Speakers, time aligned. I also had strong physical reactions with these, I actually teared up and/or fell asleep. Truly accurate music does have a powerful effect on one's emotions.

Sorry about the Palin comment, but 99% of my posting is in the "outside asylum" where we discuss things even more volatile than music reproduction, politics and religion.

  Thanks for your observations. I was asking about the new Klipsch floorstanding units which my friend referenced. Never heard them. I did hear those Klipschhorns in the remote past.
