Netflix.CA has limited selection so far. Even so, I still enjoy it and have gotten into MAD MEN. I watch it through my laptop, which is clitchy (vista 64). What I really want is a wireless device that will let me watch Netflix easily.
I have 2 Blurays which will not do the job (though they will both do the job in the US). So I don't want another Bluray. I may be interested in a new TV -- Samsung LCD.
Samsung LED 3D TVs are listed on the Netflix.CA site as being compatible, but no model numbers are given. I'm fed up with my laptop. Any recommendations?
wireless
easy reliable
Netflix.CA
Either TV or other device.
Thanks

I use the Roku XDS and like it quite a bit. Retail is $100 and one of my favorite video toys. Even non-HD programming looks pretty good. I have 3 meg DSL and the streaming is virtually flawless.

Thanks for the input. Roku is listed as a device that will for for Netflix in the USA, but not in Canada. I just noticed that Apple TVis listed on Netflix.CA. Maybe I'll give that a try.

Mine was always about 100K.

You must have had a bad installation which did happen. 3 meg is the fastest I can get at my home. 6 meg would be better for streaming and cable and FIOS are best. I don't like cable and don't live in a FIOS area so DSL is my only option.

Speed of DSL depends on the distance from the hub, among other things. I ditched my cable, and FIOS is only available in half of my town.
