    truly it is not a small difference. I am sure there must be other improvements but I am not kiiding the Phillips was twice as good.
    
    Not sure if this is a testament to how good the Phillips is or how bad the generic cable is but if you are not happy with the cable you buy you can return it.
    
    also, I bought the Phillips cable about 3 or 4 years ago so I am not sure what is available now, also the cheapest cable Best Buy had back then was $100 so the Walmart deal really was great.

      I am a fan of the bluejeans cable HDMI, uh, cable. Last I knew, it was the only one manufactured here in the USA, and it's a great, solid piece of equipment. I have a 30' run and have had great results.
