After owning an LG 670 for several months I finally Wi-Fi'd it and signed up for Netflix. The archives here didn't have a lot but was mostly positive.
It sucks for anyone over the age of 12, IMO. Very few movies outside of action adventure and Sci-Fi and those are teeny bopper comedies.
The nights are about to get long; I sure hope DVD in the mail Netflix is as it used to be.

Follow Ups:
twice, once with Panny BD player that stopped streaming and a WD box. Netflix PQ with most archived TV shows sucks. I had both devices hard wired ethernet 10MB/sec connection. Netflix even admitted in an email to me that the PQ on RESCUE ME was garbage but it was garbage in garbage out from their source. I gave up on streaming and do pay per view from TWC. Same price for movies as some of the streaming content providers with none of the PQ or other streaming issues. Most people I know with Netflix or other streaming have it for the kids.
I enjoy it for catching up on old episodes I missed, such as Breaking Bad, The Killing, Louie, etc.
I admit the selection for movies is sparse.
I have to disagree about the picture quality. We have 35mbps service, and shows available as 1080p via Netflix look better than when I see them on their original channel via FiOS. Also, many recent shows have DD+ audio, which sounds very nice.
I recommend using Instant Watcher to search for videos to stream from Netflix.
I did not know films were taken off of Netflix once they were there...
Is their hard drive space so limited?
Or at least - thanks for that info! We've used instantwatcher quite a bit in the last few days!
Use the computer rather than the search while streaming. There are lots of very good British and French films.
Search by director or actor, rather than looking for specific films.
Lots of documentaries and music too!

The movies that show up while browsing particular categories are just a small sampling of what may be available.
Use the search function for a title you're looking for & you might have much more luck.
LOTS of foreign films, plenty of great documentaries, and tons of other content if you know how to find it.
Check out VUDU.
Quality is better, no membership, just pay when you rent, and they have a 99 cent movie everyday (often pretty good)
So if you watch a movie a day Netflix is $8.00 a month and vudu would be $30.00.
For $30.00 a month total from Netflix I get 3 blu rays at a time plus all the streaming I can watch.

I was suggesting it to the OP since he found the "selection" from Netflix insufficient.
VUDU is often said to have a better selection.
If you don't suffer from the same issue, I don't suggest it for u, and yes movie for movie, it is more expensive.
Additionally, if anyone watched 30 movies a month, I suspect they would run out of good films to watch quite quickly.
Along with certain drecky TV shows and a seemingly endless numbern of crummy kiddie cartoons, there are also a reasonable selection of foreign movies and documentaries that you won't find in too many other places. Some of the particular fine ones I have seen recently are:
The Sound of Noise
Story of Mr. Sorry
Happy Happy
Boy Wonder
Who'll Stop the Rain
Soundtrack for a Revolution
The extended Swedish version of of the Milennium Triology movies (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, etc.)
Eames: The Architect and the Painter
Company
They Came to Play
Pianomania
Mapp & Lucia
It Came From Kuchar
Ip Man
I've also seen some TV series that either I missed or were never shown here:
Head Case
Arrested Development
Prison Break
The Worst Week of My Life
Red Riding Trilogy
When I rented DVDs (months ago) I saw many films that were only available via streaming but now I can not find them.
As far as picture quality, mine is very good, better than my hi def Uverse picture which would put it close to as good as Directv off air HD (if memory serves me correctly) that I had last year. Also I was using 2.8 mbps and the picture was still good, I now have 5.8 mbps and no difference so you can have a slow line and it still works fine (IMO).
My GF has netflix, both streaming and discs. The selection for streaming really sucks, even in adventure and Sci-fi. I was unimpressed with the picture quality too. The disc portion of Netflix is still the same.

The quality is very good for me, remarkably close to dvd.The selection is fabulous. Lots of great documentaries, tv shows, movies.
Lots of good British shows like 'Downton Abbey' and 'The Last Detective'.
Recent movies like 'Captain America' and 'Thor'. Great old black and white movies like 'The Dam Busters'
I'm watching 'Breaking Bad','Alphas', 'Burn Notice' and 'Sons of Anarchy' now.
It's the biggest bargain ever. But you do have to have a decent download speed. Mine is 20MBPS. Go to speedtest.net to check yours.

.
Is that your standard? Hell, I can get a better picture from broadcast TV.
Captain America? Thor????????????
Setting the bar rather low aren't we?
The last time we checked to download a movie, neither one of us could find one we wanted to see. If they have what you want, by all means go for it. My tastes are a bit farther from mainstream.
My GF has 15 MPS consistently.
