My GF has netflix, both streaming and discs. The selection for streaming really sucks, even in adventure and Sci-fi. I was unimpressed with the picture quality too. The disc portion of Netflix is still the same.

The quality is very good for me, remarkably close to dvd.
The selection is fabulous. Lots of great documentaries, tv shows, movies.
Lots of good British shows like 'Downton Abbey' and 'The Last Detective'.
Recent movies like 'Captain America' and 'Thor'. Great old black and white movies like 'The Dam Busters'
I'm watching 'Breaking Bad','Alphas', 'Burn Notice' and 'Sons of Anarchy' now.
It's the biggest bargain ever. But you do have to have a decent download speed. Mine is 20MBPS. Go to speedtest.net to check yours.

  The last time we checked to download a movie, neither one of us could find one we wanted to see. If they have what you want, by all means go for it. My tastes are a bit farther from mainstream.
