Dual processor core so it loads quickly. Plays SACD & DVD-A. Dual HDMI out which is really nice, one cable to the TV for normal watching, a second to the home theater system for movies. Does 3D and 4K resolution. Makes DVD's look too much like blu rays.

We'll have to agree to disagree about global warming until the next global cooling scare comes along

I was just at the Sony website, and there nothing there denotes that it plays DVD-A... Hmm

  As I replied to the reply, I didn't see DVD-A listed at the Sony website (although they still list the player as available)...
