I have a 4 year old Panasonic plasma
that has been trouble free with a great
picture. My sister has a 50" Panasonic
that failed in less than a year. They
repaired it in house under warranty.
Their was a bad bunch of boards in this
model that has caused a bunch of failures.

  No recall but they have been replacing the
  boards even after the warranty has expired.
