Pretty much any modern tv has an upscale built in.
The extra resolution is pretty useless unless you have a huge screen (80+") to view from a distance. Like 3D, it's a gimmick got get your money.
OLED let's you watch two movies full screen at the same time, but you have to wear special glasses. Whoopee!
They are selling them at a loss at the moment due to the high failure rate in production.

I just bought a Panasonic plasma thinking that , by the time the new technology becomes inexpensive enough to buy, I'll get one. Until then, I'll struggle alone with my new 65" Panasonic.
6 years from now I might buy one when my Pioneer plasma dies on me
With all the problems people are having with these new OLED's over on the avsforum they should work out these problems in 5 or 6 years from now.
