The description is typical of the "green blob" problem. Chip convergence is not involved and there is nothing in the service menu that will completely ameliorate the problem. Replacing the light block will be required. The green color level control (gain and bias in the custom color temperature menu) can also be reduced to minimize the visibility of the effect although this really changes color rendition significantly.
