Thanks for the response. I suspect you are correct on the problem not being correctable via the service menu. Since I originally posted I contacted an ISF calibrator and while he wasn't too familiar with SONY he thought the optical block is going bad. You are right about the green adjustments helping quite a bit and, yes, they do affect the picture overall. Bummer. One other thing that helped. A SONY customer service guy suggested using the neutral color temp and that helped as well.

The set is at least usable but I gotta tell you I am WAY disappointed in the reliability of these sets. SONY used to be almost bullet-proof but alas that is no more. SONY is not too keen on standing behind their products anymore either. Oh well. Toshiba next time I guess.
