This is for my friend whom I set up with the Kuro and the Stello/Empirical/MAC playback.

She's only going to rarely be watching BluRay. But, when she saw BluRay, she was blown away. So, - a cheap BluRay may be the way to go. Denon's $5+K box is beautiful, and she loved SACD on my system. But, at those prices, - it's not going to happen. If the picture is about a draw between Pioneer, Sony, and Panny, for BluRay, - might as well run with the Panny.
