Now that's interesting

I haven't tested either obviously.

But, I've read a few reviews here and on CNet. I gathered that most prefered the Panny over the Sony.

So, - you're saying that the picture of the Panny and Sony on BluRay are pretty close with the Panny having the narrow edge, but the Sony is much better for upscaling DVDs that are not BluRay?
